About Us

Our Mission

The mission of The Hope Center is to be a place where all Christians in the body of Christ can work together in unity to meet the multi-faceted needs of poor and disadvantaged people in the community. Part of every person's need is to live in a loving relationship with the true and living God as revealed in the Holy Bible, so we offer the spiritual hope of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Some people have physical needs, so we offer practical hope with a variety of services to help them and lead them to a healthier life in body, mind and spirit.

Our Vision

The Vision of The Hope Center is to be the body of Christ, living in fulfillment of Jesus' prayer to his Father in John chapter 17 and living in the spirit of the early church in the book of Acts. As one unified body, we want to be conduits to bring the kingdom of heaven to earth until our whole community is transformed by the glory of Jesus Christ.

Jesus prayed: "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me." John 17:20-23

"All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need." Acts 2:44-45

"All believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. There were no needy persons among them." Acts 4:32-34a
